Colombia Antioquia Pink Bourbon
Roasted in small batches in Edmonton.
Small-batch roasted by Chris in Edmonton.
Light Roast
Single Origin
In the cup: Tangerine at the front, melon running underneath, a caramel sweetness at the finish. Bright and clean.
A rare variety, roasted light
Pink Bourbon is not your usual Bourbon. It's a rare natural variety, uncommon and a little unpredictable to grow, sought out by the people who chase it for its florals and its sweetness.
This one comes from Oro Molido, a family operation on the volcanic slopes of Antioquia in central Colombia. Mineral-rich soil, high elevation, two harvests a year.
We roasted it light on purpose. A variety this delicate doesn't need to be pushed. Taken light, it keeps the bright citrus, the soft floral lift, and the clean, honeyed sweetness that make Pink Bourbon worth seeking out.
Why this one matters
Oro Molido is family-run, and they treat origin as a people business first. Through their foundation they provide free healthcare and education to their community, and they train everyone on the farm, from pickers to management, to the same standard.
They put it simply: origin makes a good coffee, but people make it great. We carry this one because that's a model worth supporting.
